zero balancing ... safe, gentle & respectful quality of touch

What happens during a session of Zero Balancing?

If it’s your first session …

  • I will need to find out a little bit about you and what it is you hope to get from Zero Balancing, take a short case history, and confirm there are no contraindications.
  • Please ware lose fitting clothes, and avoid eating a large meal before your session.

Zero Balancing protocol

  • Derby & Belper Zero Balancing - Sep 2014The Zero Balancing Protocol starts with you sitting, allowing your practitioner to examine your back and shoulders.
  • The majority of the body work is then completed with you lying on your back.
  •  Your practitioner will evaluate certain key areas then seek to optimise the flow of energy through them by applying gentle finger pressure and held stretches, which invite the release of physical and emotional tension.
  •  As the body and mind start to relax clients may enter a meditative state of inner stillness which is very pleasurable and deeply relaxing.
  • Zero Balancing - Sep 2014 - Belper Derbyshire 07801 140 972 Nov 2012At the end of the session you will be given a few moments to rest, then invited to stand and walk around the room to integrate the work
  • Every session is tailored to an individual clients needs and generally lasts between 30 – 40 minutes
  • The number of sessions you may need will depend on your individual circumstances and why you have decided to try Zero Balancing. However, to optimise the benefits of Zero Balancing it is generally advised to have three sessions over a 3 to 6 week period. Following this most clients continue to enjoy and build on their initial experience at monthly intervals, or occasionally return for a “top up” as required.
